Starting the new year, everyone makes their new year’s resolution, like going to the gym, being more healthy, learn a new skill, or what have you. For us, it’s releasing more fish than before.

Well, our new year’s resolution started off on the right foot, cause we definitely released more than any of the previous days!

The day started off slow, but there was some action. By 10 AM we had released 3 sails. Things really started to pick up after 11, so that made things a little more lively. Everyone had already warmed up and were ready for more!

The warm up was great, because after 1, everyone was was screaming ‘Left teaser!’, ‘Right teaser!’ and releasing fish like crazy! Overall, the day ended amazing with 34 raises, 30 bites, 24 released overall and 2 out of 4 Mahi Mahi caught!

Let’s hope that the rest of the year is as amazing as this!

Tight lines and many blessings!

The second day fishing of the year was pretty exciting as well, even though we only fished for part of the day.

We started out the day a little slower than the previous days. The sea was pretty calm and steady, but we weren’t getting too many bites.

Soon, we started to get a bite here and there closer to about 10 AM and soon after, one release after another!

We left earlier in the day, but it was still well worth the short trip!

Tight lines and many blessings!
